Silk Painting
Hilary's passion for textiles and bright colours lead her to initially studying under a Batik Master in Java, Indonesia. On returning to the UK, she learnt a new technique of painting on silk, Serti, which originated from France. Hilary now teaches extensively worldwide. She runs regular classes at the Eden Project, Marlborough summer school, and Oxford summer school. She has taught in Art centres in Guatemala, Mexico, USA and the UK. Her work has been published as numerous Greeting cards, Book covers, Posters.
